Wiley Sanderson's pinhole photographs demonstrate a sophisticated approach, masterful eye and accomplished technique. The creativity and quality of Sanderson's pinhole photographs place him squarely among the masters of photography. His pinhole photographs have been exhibited around the world, and these pinhole photographs are found in the permanent collections of such institutions as The Museum of Modern Art. Employing finely crafted hand built pinhole cameras, Sanderson has created a series of highly innovative pinhole photographs including Rondo Pinhole Photographs, 360 Degree Six Pinhole Photographs, and Joly Process Pinhole Photographs. These pinhole photographs are available in color or on silver bromide paper.
Sanderson has also re-invented the Joly Natural Color Process of 1894, utilizing a mosaic of red, green and blue to create a color image on a black and white negative. Refining this historic approach, Sanderson utilizes contemporary photographic materials to produce the final image on today's color printing papers.
