The 360 Degree Pinhole Photographs are made with an all brass, cylindrical camera that uses six pinhole optics equally spaced along the outside cylinder of the camera. The camera has a focal length of 1.1875 inches deep and each pinhole optic has opening .010 inches in diameter (F/118). The camera has a manually operated internal shutter and an external sighting device for composing the six individual exposures. The camera also has a tripod socket and external adjustable filter holder. The outside of the camera is decorated with Sanderson's "WS" logo etched into the metal surface.

Due to a curved film plane and the spacing of the pinhole optics, the negative always receives 100% exposure. In this way, as the image "falls off" in one exposure, its adjacent image is "building up" exposure proportionately. However, making the exposure is critical. One over or under exposed image will ruin the entire negative. Such a mistake cannot be corrected in printing the negative.
