Serigraphs produced by Bess Duston are: original hand-pulled screen-prints in limited editions that are photorealistic flowers, nature, and still life; stenciling process; unique; positive, light-sensitive emulsion method.

Primarily, the serigraphs or screen prints shown in this store are made by a stenciling process, using a positive, light-sensitive emulsion method to create the screens. These serigraphs are unique for their photorealistic qualities. Once the "photorealistic" flower, animal, or still life composition is completed in the size desired. Separate ink drawings were made for each color. A screen is then prepared using these ink drawings. Each color of ink is screen-printed in turn to produce the final picture. The usual number of pictures in each limited edition production is 35-50.
