NEVER RUN YOUR PUMP WITHOUT WATER! Without water the pump will overheat and quit.

FOR BEST RESULTS USE DISTILLED WATER. This will help prevent hard water lines, and reduce the risk of mold and fungus forming.

CHECK YOUR WATER LEVEL DAILY.
For the first couple of weeks, until you are familiar with how fast the water evaporates.

CLEAN YOUR FOUNTAIN EVERY 6 MONTHS.
Unplug the pump before disassembling and cleaning your fountain. Remove components from your container and wipe the bottom thoroughly. All components can be washed down with mild household cleaners. Rinse components thoroughly, reassemble, refill with distilled water.
