Welcome!! My name is Jeanine Wichman
and this is the story of how my husband, Roger, and I developed
CookBook Maker™ 2000.
One day I asked Roger if he could help me put together a special
cookbook as a wedding gift for my niece. I wanted to pass on recipes
that I have been collecting over the years from her great-grandmothers,
grandmothers, great-aunts and cousins. I didn't want this to be
just any cookbook. I wanted it divided into categories, and I wanted
be able to write short stories about the recipes, the people who
created them and memories about the food.
Roger, being a computer whiz for over 20 years, decided that the
best way he could help was to write a program so that I could create
the cookbook myself. That was the start of CookBook Maker™ 2000.
The program Roger wrote created such a good family heritage cookbook
that others wanted to know how to get the program for themselves.
That's how we got the idea to package and sell CookBook Maker™ 2000.
Since that time, people from all over the country have been enjoying
CookBook Maker™ 2000. Some have used the program to create their
own family heritage cookbook to share with their families, much
like I have. Others have used CookBook Maker™ 2000 to do fundraising
for their organizations, either by collecting member recipes and
creating a cookbook for their organization to sell or by selling
the software itself. And some have used CookBook Maker™ 2000 as
a tool for their personal use.
No matter how you decide to use CookBook Maker™ 2000, we are sure
that you will get as much pleasure from it as we all have.
