Question 1.    I am novice at using computers. Is CookBook Maker 2000 easy to use?

Response:    We can tell you that many of our users are also novices, and they have reported to us that they can use CBM2000 with ease.


Question 2.    Can I get CookBook Maker 2000 at my local store?

Response:    No, CBM2000 is only available on the internet.


Question 3.    How long does it take to receive CookBook Maker 2000, once I order it?

Response:    We ship by US Postal First Class mail unusally within 24 hours of receiving an order. If you need to receive the software quickly, you can choose to have it shipped overnight when ordering.


Question 4.    I do not have a credit card or I am afraid to give that information over the internet. Can I purchase CookBook Maker 2000 any onther way?

Response:    Yes you may send a check or money order in the amount of $39.95 (U.S.) to: ALSAM Enterprises, 5031 N. 142 St., Omaha NE 68164. For personal checks, please allow extra time for the check to clear. Be sure to include your mailing address and any special shipping requests when you send payment. If this will not work for you, please email us.


Question 5.    Will CookBook Maker 2000 run on my operating system?

Response:    CBM2000 will run on almost any Windows-based operating system, including Win95, Win98, Win2000, and WindowsXP.


Question 6.    Can I import custom graphics/pictures into CookBook Maker 2000?

Response:    While you will not be able to import custom graphics directly into CBM2000, you can create and print pages with those graphics using MSWord, PageMaker, or any other software of your choice. Once you have printed the master copy of your cookbook from CBM2000, you can place the pages with your graphics into your master before you duplicate and/or bind it.


Question 7.    What is the page format?

Response:    CBM2000 is set to print in 8 1/2 x 11 format. This is the format that was overwhelmingly selected by our focus groups for ease of use when cooking. CBM2000 uses who have desired a different format have reported to us that it can easily be done at the copier when duplicating the master.


Question 8.    I already have a number of recipes created in Word or some other recipe program. Can I import or copy them to CookBook Maker 2000?

Response:    Because there is no standard programming format for these programs, you will not be able to import or paste the ingredients and measures into CBM2000. However, you can cut and paste your directions or any other text information into CBM2000.


Question 9.    How many recipes will appear on a page?

Response:    When printing the master copy of your cookbook, CBM2000 will determine if more than one recipe will fit on a page and proceed accordingly.


Question 10.    Can I email recipes directly from CookBook Maker 2000 to a friend?

Response:    While you can print single recipes at anytime, CBM2000 was not design to email recipes.


Question 11.    How many recipes can I put into CookBook Maker 2000?

Response:    You can add as many recipes as your computer hard drive will handle (which is probably more than you will ever need).


Question 12.    Can I create more than one cookbook using CookBook Maker 2000?

Response:    Yes. Once you have purchased CBM2000, let us know that you want to do this, and we will show you how easy it is?
