The helicopter has no doors and the photographer hangs out the side with only a safety harness and a prayer separating him from the ground several thousand feet below. Combining risk with artistic expression the photographer must wait for the perfectly clear day, sometimes waiting weeks for the ideal shot. The images are later processed in a state of the art color processing facility.
