Here's How They Work
(i) The grease matrix containing the azole compound is applied
to the vaginal area with the infection by use of an applicator grease
gun.
(ii) Immediately upon application
the "organic" grease and the "organic" azole compounds start to diffuse
across the vaginal membrane and the membrane of any fungal cells in
the immediate area.
(iii) The azole compounds
have diffused across the vaginal lining and into the associated blood
vessels and surrounding tissue. They are then immediately taken throughout
the vascular network to all tissues in the body until removed by the
liver in a process damaging to the liver. The small amount of azole
able to permeate the fungal cell in the immediate area begins the
slow process of slowing and blocking the egrosterol synthesis machinery
of the cell and after an extended period of time causing unresistent
Candida fungal cells to die.
