Quality materials make quality tents
Panther Primitives is one of the world's best manufactures of tents. Their tents, we believe, are the best around, not to mention the best for the money. They have reinforced seams, are water repellent and mildew resistant, only the finest material is used. Sunforger is a light weight, tightly woven cotton with only a 1.5% shrinkage factor, that comes in two weights for additional versatility in meeting your camping needs. Flame retardancy adds another recommended option to insure safe camping. Panther has tried to make it easy for you to enjoy your camping experience. Tents can be ordered with a set up package that includes poles, ropes, and tent stakes. If you prefer, you can make your own set up equipment, with excellent instructions supplied.
Depending upon the tent you select, 1 to 2 people can easily set up and take down these tents in short order. From personal experience, these tents are comfortable, withstand the elements well, are well constructed, and roomy. If you have any questions please E mail us. Marquee
The Marquee is a rectangular tent. The high peak allows plenty of headroom. It is used by many families and merchants at reenactment events because it is so versatile. Curtains are available as an option to divide it into separate areas to meet your individual requirements. The wall curtains allow you to determine where you want your doorway to your tent. The Marquee is also available as an oval, with a single center pole instead of a ridge pole, or a "Classic Pitch" tall Marquee with a 12-13 foot peak height. Prices for these are available on request. The prices below are for 6 foot sidewalls as standard. We think a better option for most people is a 6 1/2 or 7 foot side wall available as an option for an additional $55. The set up package would be an additional $30 if a higher side wall is selected.
Regent Pavilion
The REGENT PAVILION is a very comfortable tent that one person can easily set up. It is a one piece tent with a center pole. It has a square roof portion with slant walls that form an octagonal base. A tent fly is available as an attractive option.
Dags
Scalloped edging or Dagging is standard trim on the outside of the Marquee and Regency tents. It gives the tents their medieval flair and keeps the rain and wind out. Most designs for dags are available at no added cost. Designs E and G are available at additional cost. Designs F, G, or H can be made in two alternating colors. The trim of the scallops is available in 12 different colors to individualize your tent further.
Wedge Tents
Two Medieval Wedge Tents are available. The Viking and the Normal Saxon tent. The Viking tent is supported entirely by a free standing framework of poles. A sleeve is sewn along the base of each long side of your tent and is large enough for a 2 x 4. The ridge pole is supported by crossed poles at each end. (Frame not included.)
Norman Saxon
The Norman Saxon Tent is similar to the Viking tent. It sets up with a ridge pole and uprights. It also requires tent stakes for proper set up.

Tent and dining fly's are available from Panther. These attach directly to the tent and require additional poles for set up. They provide protection from rain and sun. Pricing information is available of request.
