Hundreds of people ask us to find a pen-pal for them each month. All their names and addresses are listed in Tom's Oriental Express and are free to you.
Many of you have asked how to get your names and personal bio-data distributed around the World so that you can receive the letters first. There are two obvious advantages to this approach:
You answer only those persons who appeal to you
You save a lot on postage in your search for the relationship which "clicks"
We acknowledge each of the hundreds of letters from abroad. With each acknowledgement we can distribute your name, bio-data and photo throughout the world - not in months... not in weeks... but immediately upon receiving it from you. You will start receiving letters two to three weeks after submission.
You will hear from ladies or gentlemen from Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan (Republic of China), Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. In addition, if you so desire, your materials will be distributed at no additional cost throughout Europe, mainly Russia, Ukraine and Cyprus.
We guarantee the distribution for the duration of two months (unless you ask us to stop because the response is overwhelming), for a low fee of $40.00. This equals the amount you would spend on mailing 40 airmail letters containing your letter and photo. We guarantee that the response you receive will exceed 40 and that this is a very economical way to meet your future friends. In addition, you will decide with whom you wish to correspond.
Your bio-data should include your name and address, marital status (never married, married, widowed or single/divorced), age or birthdate, smoker/non-smoker, drinker/non-drinker, occupation, hobbies and what you are seeking for in your friends. Add anything else you would like to tell your friends (not more than 200 words, please).
Send this information with your photo (a passport type 2"x2" or a 3 1/2"x5" of full-body) which shows you clearly. Do not send larger than 2"x2" portraits, or group pictures. Payment must accompany order. Indicate if you wish to have your name distributed only in the Orient or if European countries should be included. We accept personal checks and credit cards. Mail to
