THE AUTHOR

Photograph of Korra Deaver Dr. Deaver, now 75 years old, rose from uneducated parents in extreme poverty to struggle upwards out of a restrictive life style to achieve the college education she longed for. She is one of a generation of women who have seen the world change from a fairly primitive society to a highly technological one; from scrubbing clothes on a washboard beside a mountain creek to a modem labor-saving kitchen; from a restrictive, Victorian morality to full-frontal nudity on and off screen.

Now retired, Korra Deaver, writer, teacher, lecturer, and past life therapist, lives in Eugene, Oregon. She has a Ph.D. in Parapsychology from St. John's University in Louisiana, and has spent thirty-five years studying correlations between the mind, emotions, and physical events. She is the author of Psychic Power and Soul Consciousness; and The Master Numbers, by Hunter House Publishers.

THE BOOK

An inspiring autobiography of a woman's struggle to find herself amid the turmoil of a changing society. The "angels" in our lives are people who create the spiritual lessons in heartbreak, and teach us to recognize guidance from the Soul Self.

Three husbands, three children, and three major love affairs were the angels who brought her through heartbreak and scandal, triumph and set-backs, and taught her to recognize the spiritual side of life, to learn how to receive guidance from the Soul Self. Her inspiring story teaches the value of listening to Inner Wisdom instead of what other people might think or say or do.

SELECTED REVIEWS

...Dr. Deaver has produced a truly thought producing book that puts many of lives ups-and-downs into new perspectives. She is a woman wise far before her times. An enlightening story that should help others learn to think about their own turmoils before believing life has sentenced them to difficulties. - Nancy B. Leake, Reviewer, Write_Time_Write_Place_News
The book shares in detail, seeming similar to the Little house on the Prairie, while reminding me of the James A Michener books in its thoroughness, interest and quality.

...If you carry guilts, I recommend you read this, it should help you to deal with and release very personal experiences that you may have shelved or sublimated. Such releases will assist you by helping to stop repetitive experiencing of similar "lessons of Life." --Norma Graham, Universal Newsletter, Universal Truth Foundation.
