Captain Miller had been on the city police force for twenty-five years, but this murder was unlike anything he had ever seen. He wasn’t even sure how the girl died. With virtually no clues to follow, Captain Miller knew that the police had little hope of catching the killer. He needed someone, someone who was trusted on the street; he needed Stone.
When Detective Norton Stone answers the late phone call on a rainy night, he begins his journey into the twisted psyche of a ghost from his past.
Teamed with Officer Darlene Corso, who he secretly loves, Detective Stone begins his pursuit of the killer. During his search, he turns to his contacts on the street for help.
As Detective Stone travels headlong into a confrontation with the killer, the final conflict can only mean death for one man. Good against evil, man against man.
