Well children, here we are together again. I am so very excited to be back with you. There is so much I want to catch up on and you know, it occurs to me that I should have begun these writings long ago. Before we get started here let me say a word or two about this past Christmas season. As you know, the number of people who live in our world continues to grow larger all the time. I think that is wonderful. It does however keep us very busy throughout the year, but then that is what we are all about here in Christmas Land. This past Christmas season went through pretty much without any problems of major proportions. Oh, we had our little ups and downs, but for the most part it was just great. Had to have a new suit this year, the other one was getting a bit small for some reason. Leonard [that’s my tailor] says it’s my eating all the time. You know it seems we grown ups seem to have that same problem just about all the time. Some kind of new and lighter material that doesn’t stain even when I spill my hot chocolate during my lunch break, as I almost always do. It is very comfortable and I do like it very much. Before I close this dedication I would like to say thank you to some very special people this year. And if you don’t mind, dedicate this entire book to them. Throughout history, and for a reason known only to a higher power there have been men and women who have chosen to dedicate themselves to helping others, even if it means sacrificing their lives in doing so. We, all of us have seen some very bad things this past couple of years and I must tell you children, there is just no higher calling than when a man or woman gives their life trying to save another. God bless them and you for your prayers for them. May we never forget the sacrifices that have been made in the name of love. With love for all, S. Claus
Most sincerely yours,
S. Claus.
Mr. Albertson has shared almost all of his adult life writing and reading to children. He will always encourage a child to read and grow. He will also tell you that a book "opens the doors of life," and as he puts it, "lets the sun shine in."
When a child grabs my hand and says, "I know who you are." I can't help but give them my Christmas wink, and remind them to mind their mother and father because; you know who, is always watching. Mr. Albertson says he is getting on in years now, but he still remembers what his grandmother told him many years ago, and knows it to be true. “When children laugh, the angels sing."
The author and his family spends some time with kindergartners at Saint Susanna’s Parish in Plainfield. See the article. Also, see www.santasdeliveryjournals.com
So you think there is no Santa Claus! Book Two takes the reader throughout the world on the adventures transcribed from Santa's own journals numbered 25and 26. There are stories of love, humor, and adventure. These stories will take the adult reader back in remembrance to a time in their youth when they also believed as the children even now believe. You will share the old gentleman's laughter, excitement, and tears of love, as you experience the world with him. So, climb in, buckle up, and hang on as he takes off searching out the glow of love on Christmas Eve! And, dear reader, be prepared to fall in love yourself, as you share this writing with your children.
