THE BOOK

Derik Michaels wants to change the world through eradicating all oppositions to his version of society. To accomplish this feat, he gains the support of several politicians through navigating them along a sick sense of logic in order to persuade them beyond moral thinking into murder. His plan is foiled by two associates, an assassin and a politician, that realize their contributions cost them their souls. During a break in at Delik's office, they're caught.

How far should government go in order to create a better world? Some believe murder and through manipulation bring others to follow. In this novel the unthinkable becomes a reality.

SELECTED READING

Derik opened the chamber and emptied the bullets. He picked up a single shell and placed it back into the chamber.

Shadows danced around the room from the light of the TV. Lamps and tables became animated in the flickering light. He watched them for a moment in childish delight while rubbing the pistol against his chest.

"I want a better world. I will have it or die trying. Derik pressed his lips against the nickel-plated .357 with a single tender motion and felt the cold metal against his cheek. His hand held the revolver in front of him. He listened to the clicks as he spun the chamber. The shaking of his hands didn't stop him.

"If I'm wrong, please let me die.
