    Aztec Punch:

    • 1 stick cinnamon
    • 3 cups hot water
    • 3 teaspoons loose tea
    • 3/4 cup lemon juice
    • 5 cups grapefruit juice
    • 5 cups tequila
    • Sugar to taste
    • Fresh mint

    Bring cinnamon and water to boil; simmer 1 minute only. Add tea steep 5 minutes. Strain and add lemon juice, grapefruit juice, tequila and sugar. Pour over ice in punch bowl. Garnish with fresh mint.
    Yield: 3 1/2 quarts

    The History of Iced Tea:

    In the summer of 1904 in Mary Engelbreit's hometown of St. Louis,
    iced tea was invented. It was the World's Fair and it was hot!
    Tea vendors were getting no response to their delicious but
    hot tea. One enterprising merchant decided to add ice
    and pour the tea into a tall glass.
    The rest is history.
