Our sachets are made of biodegradable cornstarch based nylon, not petroleum based nylon. They are pyramid shaped to allow the whole leaves to circulate and infuse properly, without the mess of brewing loose leaf tea.

Tea sachets also brew up a great glass of iced tea - they don't fall apart in your glass! Experiment this summer making your own iced tea!

Organic African Sunset Red Tea :

Rooibos, or red bush tea, is a great caffeine-free alternative. Two leaves' African Sunset brews up rich and lemony with just a hint of lemon grass tang to craft a sweet but interesting flavor.

Rooibos is also high in anti-oxidants and trace minerals. Red Tea or more literally "red bush" only grows in South Africa where it has a spicy, somewhat astringent herbal flavor, which makes it a great tea alternative.

Excellent when fighting off a cold - full of anti-oxidants.

Organic Mountain High Chai :

Two leaves and a bud offers a traditional chai that starts with true Assam tea (not cheap "blending tea") and adds only the true ingredients of chai:
Cinnamon, Clove and Cardamom.

Chai is the Hindi word for tea. "Chai" is the name that we in the West have given the Spiced tea which is a daily beverage throughout India. Today, Chai is typically made with black tea and a variety of sweet flavors such as cinnamon and orange peel. two leaves and a bud offers a traditional chai that starts with true Assam tea (not cheap "blending tea") and adds only the true ingredients of chai: Cinnamon, Clove, and Cardamom.

Organic Acai White Tea:

Acai berries are berries grown on special Amazonian palm trees, harvested in the rain forests of Brazil. The rich taste is a distinct combination of berry flavor and subtle chocolate. The berries are high in anti-oxidants, amino acids and essential fatty acids which aid in fighting off cancer and other diseases as well as sharpen mental focus.

Traditional Chinese white teas are hill grown in the Fujian Province China Acai (Ahh - sigh - ee) berries are a super food, high in antioxidants, growing only in Brazil.

China is said to be tea's country of origin, dating back thousands of years. China yields mostly green teas and is the only country that produces and traditionally harvests hill grown white tea, primarily in the southeastern coastal province of Fujian.

We use the young "hairy" top two leaves and a bud to create our delicate white teas to the classic Chinese specifics, Organic White Peony and Organic Acai White teas.

    Organic White Peony White Tea:
      

Organic Whole leaf White Tea with Rose petals

The Chinese name,"Bai Mu Dan", literally means white peony blossom. There is no Peony in this tea, just luscious white tea.
Harvested only during a brief period in early spring, white tea is the unopened bud of the tea plant.

Classic white tea is smooth and savory, but so light in the cup as to be called "white". White tea is the very early spring growth of certain tea plants that is handled very delicately to preserve the white "hairs" on the leaves. It is very gently sun-dried to preserve the mellow flavor of the tea.

Sencha is a Japanese style Green tea grown in China. Sencha is the most popular type of green tea in Japan. It is known for its sweet, mellow flavor, great with any meal.

The addition of organic Goji berries and natural tropical flavors makes this tea slightly tangy but rich and smooth. Great iced!

East meets West in this Japanese green tea blend which has all the taste of a full leaf green tea. (Good green tea is green, not brown!) We add the flavor of famous Italian red oranges, which adds a tanginess to this Japanese favorite.

Sencha is the most consumed tea in Japan. It is long leafed tea, finished in the sun. (Other Japanese teas are covered at the end of the growing season.)

Tamayokucha - Green Tea:

Extremely Green Tea

This incredible Japanese tea is steamed as it dries, yielding a sweet, light flavor with no bitterness. Like all high quality Japanese green teas, this tea is green, not brown.

"Tama" means round."(R) yokucha" means green tea - so "round green tea."

This extremely green tea is finished in the shade - it is covered for the last few weeks of growth to preserve the chlorophyll. This gives it a full and complex flavor. It is a "Gyokuro" style tea - the most sought-after of all Japanese green teas.

Jasmine Petal:

Classic Chinese Green Tea dried with Jasmine Petals

Traditional Jasmine tea is green tea dried with petals of jasmine flower. As the tea dries, it absorbs the flavor of the jasmine. We leave the jasmine petals in ours for a great taste and visual experience. Jasmine tea is the most consumed tea in China. The finest is grown in the Fujian Province, where the teas exhibit a depth and complexity not found in lesser teas.
