ABOUT THE PLANNER
Mr. Griffith, P.E., DCFS, has more than 20 years experience
in Land Planing and project management, the design and analysis
of major subdivisions; which includes paving, waste water (sewer
and on site septic systems), water, wetlands delineation, preparation
of environmental impact statements, 404 permitting, amenities, stormwater
detention facilities, studies for levee protection and flood plain
delineation when required by law; in addition to the designs of
general civil, mechanical (pump stations), structures, foundations
and hydraulic systems (drainage, sewer and water).
This experience entails all project management of specific work
elements required to complete a project on a timely basis, from
conceptualization and research, through the design phases, thence
to appropriate agency approval, construction in compliance with
the various Cities and Counties Sub-division Ordinances, and final
documentation.
He attended public, private and interagency coordination meetings
to resolve critical issues. He is very familiar with the facets
of the interaction among land developers, real estate professionals,
mortgage financiers, municipalities, utility companies, community
and environmental activists and landowners insofar as franchise
and municipal issues are involved.
Mr Griffith is intimately familiar with the latest technology
in Infrastructural Planning (AUTO CADD), Pipe Network Analysis (EPA
SWMM, KYPIPES), Hydrology (HEC-1, TR55, TR20), Hydraulics (HEC-2,
EPA SWMM), Detention Pond Analysis (POND-2), Watershed Sedimentology
and Deposition (SEDIMONT, HEC-6), Dam Breach Analysis and Forecasting
(DAM BREAK), Statistical Analysis (SAS) Coordinate Geometry Designs
(DCA, COGO), Spread Sheet Analysis (LOTUS, FRIEND), Structures (RET
WALL, POST TEN, CONBEAM).
Mr. Griffith has a B.S. (1976) and M.S. (1979) in Agricultural
Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Special studies in On
Site Waste Water Systems Design (1988), Flood Plain Management and
Stream Encroachment (1988) and Wetlands Delineation and Remidiation
from Rutgers University. |
