About Jacqui Davis....
Jacqui Davis is a 20-year practitioner/teacher of Yoga and a native of Guyana, South America. Yoga by Jacqui Davis is a specially designed regime that promotes strength, flexibility, suppleness, stamina, self-awareness and confidence while helping to relieve anxiety, chronic fatigue, poor posture and stress. “Yoga lubricates every muscle and joint giving one a feeling of vitality, longevity, focused well-being and provides a mental lift,” says Davis. In 1984, when Davis initially opened her Manhattan Yoga studio in New York with her invigorating 60-minute Yoga sessions, she immediately attracted a mix of doctors, lawyers, stockbrokers, dancers, professional athletes, college students, pregnant women, and grandparents as well as famous people. She also attracted veterans of aerobics, nautilus and other programs who discovered that Yoga offers them an equally great workout with less stress to the body. The students also appreciated the therapeutic aspects of the exercises, which according to Davis, can help lower blood pressure, strengthen the knees, improve the circulatory system, relieve lower back problems, relieve migraine headaches and slipped discs among other problems, while improving the breathing capacity. Davis now teaches in the Pacific Northwest. She has also taught in Los Angeles, Mexico, Spain, London, Barbados and at Ramtha School of Enlightenment. She appeared on ESPN Sports, CBS Morning News, WTBS, Mid-Day Live and other television programs. The following is a partial list of her Yoga
